Yes. For 2026 summonses in Malaysia (PDRM & JPJ), there will be a structured discount system, but the way discounts are given has changed compared with previous years:
From 1 January 2026 onwards
Under the new unified system (both PDRM and JPJ), the earlier you settle a compoundable traffic summons, the greater the discount — it’s built into the standard payment rates:
- Pay within 1–15 days from date of issue → 50% discount
- Pay within 16–30 days → 33% discount
- Pay within 31–60 days → No discount (full amount)
- After 60 days → You may face court action / blacklisting
This is a year-round system replacing old ad-hoc discount campaigns. So YES, there is a discount, but it’s now time-based and automatic, rather than only during special campaigns.
Important: This only applies to compoundable offences. Serious or non-compoundable offences (e.g., driving without valid insurance, fake documents) do not get these discounts.

Nope. I just paid the summon RM 150 online for parking offence within the 15 days period via mybayar PDRM. I didn't get the structured discount as stated. It showed that the system cannot be trusted 🤦
