From 23 December 2021 till 20 January 2022, the Singapore government will stop all VTL bus and flight ticket sales coming into Singapore in their efforts to control rising Omicron numbers.
Those who have bought their Land and Air Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) tickets previously will be allowed to carry on with their quarantine-free trip. Please do remember to follow the required protocols as previously established.
This latest development only affects those who have yet buy tickets before 23 December 2021. From January 21 2022 onwards, the number of bus and flight tickets for VTL travel will also be halved until further notice.

As of today, 22 December 2021, Singapore has 71 confirmed cases carrying the Omicront variant, of which 65 were imported cases. These latest measures are an attempt to stifle the spread of this variant which has been found to be highly transmissible.
The highly dense population of the nation across the Causeway can lead to the fast spreading of the virus and thus the Singapore government has taken these steps to ensure the safety of their citizens.
Malaysian residents are advised to put off their travel plans and take the necessary precautions as we face yet another battle against this virus.
