Following the global debut of Tesla's first pickup truck last December, the arrival of the Tesla Cybertruck in Malaysia has been confirmed.

The Tesla Cybertruck has appeared on the official Tesla Malaysia website, joining the ranks of the already launched Model 3 and Model Y. While there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding its availability for sale in Malaysia, it seems likely that the all-electric pickup truck is being showcased. Meanwhile, Thailand is set to welcome the model this week.

The Cybertruck marks several technological milestones for Tesla, being the first to utilize an 800V architecture for its high-voltage battery system, along with a 48-volt low-voltage electrical system. It also introduces rear-wheel steering and a steer-by-wire system, featuring a pair of electric motors on the front steering rack and one at the rear.

Cybertruck deliveries have commenced in the United States, with three variants available at prices ranging from USD60,990 to USD99,990 (approximately RM290k to RM474k). Here are the specifications for each variant:

Inside, it embraces Tesla's signature minimalism, highlighted by an expansive 18.5-inch touchscreen for seamless access to vehicle functions and driving data.
