Some of these petrolhead parents in Malaysia are motoring journalists who drive different new demo cars every other day or week, which make their school runs much more fun than usual for their offspring on board.

These boys and girls who spent their growing-up years in a great variety of cars reviewed by their fathers (majority) and mothers (minority) on the job would have experienced automotive enjoyment which eludes their less privileged schoolmates who rely on less interesting motorised vehicles, or public transport.

A few even become kid-size “co-drivers” for the adults behind the wheel, providing little opinions about the vehicle/interior/whatever which might be mentioned in the articles.

They also love to rattle off car makes and models from A to V (Alfa to Volvo), plus a bunch of meaningful numbers such as 0 to 100 (km/h), 1 to 8 (Series), F1 and 911.

Wait till these car-crazy young ones get their driving licence, hit the road and start reviewing cars too.
