2024 MINI Countryman JCW Trim makes a grand entrance in Malaysia gallery a swansong for Second-Gen F60 Starting at RM254k

Before its retirement, the second-generation (F60) MINI Countryman facelift is honored by BMW Group Malaysia with a limited-edition model featuring exclusive John Cooper Works Trim.

Derived from the existing Cooper S variant of the Countryman, this special offering is priced at RM253,833 on the road without insurance. This price includes a standard two-year warranty, with the option to extend to a four-year warranty for RM264,233. Compared to the regular Cooper S Countryman, this represents a premium of RM3,445.

For this additional cost, buyers gain access to one of the 168 units of the Countryman JCW Trim available here. Each one comes equipped with a John Cooper Works (JCW) aerodynamic package, featuring a front apron with integrated air ducts and a diffuser element for the rear bumper.

Further distinguishing features include JCW door sill finishers, a rear spoiler, and 19-inch JCW Circuit spoke wheels with run-flat tires. The vehicle is offered in limited quantities in British Racing Green, Chilli Red, Nanuq White, and Sage Green, ensuring exclusivity for each color option. Inside, the special Countryman boasts anthracite sun visors, dome light housing, and anthracite-colored pillars.

Utilizing the same variant as its base, the engine remains consistent with the B48 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 192 PS from 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 1,350 and 4,600 rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a seven-speed sport dual-clutch transmission equipped with paddle shifters. Performance-wise, the car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 226 km/h.

The standard equipment encompasses keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, auto-dimming mirrors, manual seat adjustment, parking assist, a head-up display, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a reverse camera, a rear picnic bench, and a hands-free powered tailgate.

 Notably, the JCW now includes a Qi wireless smartphone charger as part of its standard features.

Additionally, the standard kit consists of keyless entry and start, power-adjustable front seats with driver’s side memory, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a Qi wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay, a hands-free powered tailgate, and the Driving Assistant package featuring autonomous emergency braking.
