Johor is calling for more pick up and drop off points for cross border taxis between Malaysia and Singapore.

At present, most passengers rely heavily on Woodlands Checkpoint, which often causes long queues and traffic jams. By adding more points, especially around Johor Bahru, commuters will enjoy smoother travel and shorter waiting times.

The move is also expected to reduce congestion at both Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints, making cross border travel more efficient for thousands of daily passengers.

It will also benefit workers, tourists, and businesses that depend on reliable transport across the causeway. With better facilities, drivers and passengers can expect safer and more convenient journeys.

For car owners who make frequent cross border trips, this is a good time to consider upgrading your vehicle. You can easily sell car or explore used car options that suit heavy travel needs. The Woodlands and Tuas traffic camera feature on the Motorist platform also helps drivers plan their journeys better by showing real time traffic updates.

As Johor pushes for more cross border taxi facilities, you too can take charge of your driving experience.
